These Terms are an agreement between you and Prem Kumar, sole proprietor of Viaraa Technologies, which runs Viaraa ("Viaraa", "we"). By creating an account or using Viaraa you agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and, for hosts, the Host Guidelines. If you don't agree, please don't use Viaraa.

ചുരുക്കത്തിൽ

1. What Viaraa is

Viaraa lets callers have paid one-to-one video calls with verified hosts. Callers pay for calls with coins. Hosts earn money for the minutes they talk.

Hosts are independent people who choose when to be online. They are not our employees or agents, and what they say on a call is their own. We don't promise that any host will be available, or how a conversation will go.

Viaraa is for friendly conversation only. It is not a dating, escort or adult service and must never be used as one.

2. Who can use Viaraa

  • You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract under Indian law.
  • Hosts must be women aged 18 or older. Every host is approved by our team after a live selfie video check, and we may refuse any application.
  • One account per person. The details you give us must be true and your own.
  • You can't use Viaraa if we have removed you before, or if the law where you are doesn't allow it.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google or with a one-time code sent to your email. Each account gets a User ID, which you'll need when you buy coins or contact us.

Keep your Google or email account secure, because anyone who can get into it can get into Viaraa. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

You can stop using Viaraa at any time and ask us to close your account from the Contact page.

4. Coins

Coins are a prepaid credit that can only be used inside Viaraa, to pay for call minutes, gifts and game passes. Coins are not money. They have no cash value outside Viaraa, and they can't be sold, transferred to another account or exchanged for cash, except for the refunds in our Refund Policy.

  • Buying coins. On the Viaraa top-up page you pick a pack, pay the price shown by UPI to the UPI ID shown on that page, and enter the payment's UTR (reference number). Our team checks every payment by hand and then adds the coins. You can follow each request on its status page.
  • Only pay the UPI ID on the Viaraa top-up page. Never pay a host or anyone else who asks you to pay them directly. We can't recover that money, and asking for it is against our rules.
  • Prices and pack sizes may change. A change never affects coins already in your account.
  • Coins don't expire while your account is open.
  • If a payment turns out to be fake, is reversed, or is charged back after we added the coins, we remove those coins and may suspend the account.

5. Calls and billing

  • The rate in coins per minute is shown before you start a call.
  • Each minute is charged when it starts. A call that lasts 2 minutes and 10 seconds is charged as 3 minutes. You need enough coins for at least one minute to start a call.
  • When you don't have enough coins for the next minute, the call ends by itself. You'll see a warning before your coins run out.
  • Calls that are missed, declined or cancelled before they're answered cost nothing.
  • Either person can end a call at any time. Minutes that have started are not given back, except for problems on our side as described in the Refund Policy.
  • Call quality depends on your phone and internet connection. We're not responsible for problems caused by your device or network.
  • Chat. After at least one paid call with a host, a caller can message her for free with text, photos (under 1 MB) and voice messages (up to a minute); videos can't be sent. Hosts reply to chats but don't start them. Phone numbers, UPI IDs, email addresses, social media handles and links are hidden automatically, and photos are checked for nudity on your phone before they're sent.
  • Gifts. During a call you can send gifts that cost coins. A gift can't be taken back once it's sent. The full value of each gift goes to the host.

6. Games

Viaraa has simple board and party games, such as Snakes & Ladders, Ludo and Act & Guess, that you can play with friends in the Games tab, or with the other person during a call.

  • Games are for fun only. They are online social games, not money games: nobody pays or stakes coins or money in the hope of winning, and there are no prizes or rewards of any value. Winning gives only trophies, streaks and badges, which can't be bought, sold, transferred or spent.
  • Coins can never be bet on a game or passed between players. You must not offer, ask for or agree to any payment, gift or recharge that depends on a game or its result.
  • A friendly challenge is a fun forfeit picked from a list in the app (like singing a song on the next call). Nothing of value changes hands.
  • Game ID. To play outside calls, a caller picks a Game ID: a public name that lets friends invite them. It is not your login username, which stays private. The same rules as for names apply, and we may replace a Game ID that breaks them.
  • Games during a call are free; the call's minutes are charged as usual while you play. Games outside calls are free for the first 48 hours after your first one. After that we may ask for a game pass: a day pass or a week pass, paid in coins, that gives unlimited games outside calls for that time. The price is shown before you pay, buying again adds the time after your current pass, and a pass is only an access fee: it never depends on who wins, and nothing of value goes to winners or to hosts. Hosts never need a pass, and watching a game in your group is free.
  • Hosts aren't paid for games outside calls, and a host's earnings never depend on a game's result.
  • Our server rolls the dice and checks every move. A turn not played within the time shown ends the game, and leaving a game counts as a loss.
  • A game during a call ends when the call ends. Players can be reported and blocked from any game.
  • Groups. Callers can make groups of up to 12 people to chat and play together. People join only by accepting an invite or with the group's link. The person who made a group can rename it, remove members and make a new link; when they leave, the member who joined first takes over. The rules for everyone apply in group names and group chats too, and contact details are hidden automatically. We may hide messages or close a group that breaks them. Hosts are never in groups.

7. Rules for everyone

On calls, in chats and games, in your profile, and anywhere else on Viaraa, you must not:

  • show, ask for or perform nudity, sexual acts or sexual content, or offer or ask for sexual services;
  • involve anyone under 18 in any way, or let anyone else use your account or appear on your calls;
  • harass, threaten, bully, stalk or abuse anyone, or use hate speech about religion, caste, gender, sexuality, disability, race or region;
  • record, screenshot, stream or share any part of a call, or anyone's image or voice, without their permission;
  • ask for or share phone numbers, social media, addresses or payment details, or arrange to pay or meet outside Viaraa;
  • pretend to be someone else, use another person's photos, or lie about your age or identity;
  • promote or take part in anything illegal, such as drugs, weapons, gambling, fraud or scams;
  • post or say anything defamatory, obscene, invasive of someone's privacy, or that infringes someone's copyright or trademark;
  • post anything that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with other countries, or public order;
  • spread malware, or try to get around billing, hack, scrape, overload or copy Viaraa, or use bots or several accounts.

Hosts must also follow the Host Guidelines.

8. Safety, reports and blocking

You can end any call, and block or report the other person, at any time, from a call, a chat or a game. People who block each other can't see, call or message each other.

Automatic nudity check. During the whole of every call, Viaraa checks the video on both phones for nudity. If it detects nudity in the first minutes of a call (currently the first 3), the call ends for both people, the person whose camera showed it gets a warning, and a short video clip with sound (about 10 to 20 seconds, from just before that moment) and a screenshot of each camera are saved privately for our safety team as proof. After 3 warnings the account is suspended. Later in a call, the call isn't ended, but the clips and screenshots are still saved as evidence and our team may warn, suspend or close the account, and share them with the police where the law requires. Minutes that had started are still charged. Calls are not recorded: for this check, your phone keeps only the last few seconds of both cameras in its memory, always replacing them, and they leave your phone only if the check detects nudity.

Our team reviews every report and every warning. Depending on what happened we may warn someone, end a live call, suspend or close an account, hold a host's payouts, or remove content. Where the law requires it, we keep information and share it with the police or other authorities. If we believe someone may be under 18 or in danger, we act straight away.

A suspension takes effect immediately. If you think we got it wrong, write to our Grievance Officer through the Contact page.

9. Hosts: earnings and payouts

  • Earnings. Hosts earn the amount per minute shown in the host app for every minute charged to callers on their calls, plus the full value of the gifts they receive: Viaraa currently takes no cut of either. Viaraa sets the rates. We'll tell hosts in the app before a rate changes, and a change only applies to calls after it.
  • Levels. A host's price per minute depends on her level, and her level on her total paid call minutes (gifts don't count). The levels, prices and minutes needed are shown in the host app. A new level applies from her next call.
  • Refer and earn. An approved host can invite new hosts with her own link. When a host she invited completes the first level, she receives the reward shown in the host app, paid with her weekly payout. It's paid once per invited host, only for genuine new hosts, and may be withheld if the invite was misused (for example fake or duplicate accounts).
  • Payouts. Everything earned from Monday to Sunday (India time) is paid the next Monday to the host's own UPI ID. The UTR of each payment appears in the Earnings tab. If a week's total is below the minimum payout, it's added to the next week's.
  • A payout waits while there's no UPI ID, while a report about the host is being checked, or while the account is suspended. Earnings from fraud, from calls that broke these Terms or the Host Guidelines, or from payments that were reversed may be withheld or taken back.
  • Hosts are independent and are responsible for their own taxes. Where the law requires us to deduct tax at source, we will, and we'll show it.
  • Callers only ever see a host's display name, age, languages, about and approved photos. A host's email, date of birth, selfie and UPI ID are never shown to them.
  • A host may stop at any time. Earnings that are due are paid on the next payout day, unless they're being held as described above.

10. Your content

Photos and text you add stay yours. You give us permission, free of charge and for as long as they're on Viaraa, to store them and show them inside Viaraa so the service can work. We don't record calls; the only things we keep from a call are the safety clips and screenshots described in section 7. We may remove anything that breaks these Terms.

11. Our role

Viaraa is an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Calls are live conversations between callers and hosts, and we don't control what people say on them. We follow the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021: we publish these rules, act on complaints through our Grievance Officer, and remind users of the rules at least once a year.

12. Suspending and closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, puts other people at risk, or must be closed by law. Where it's safe and reasonable, we'll tell you why.

What happens to coins is explained in the Refund Policy. What happens to a host's earnings is explained in section 8 above.

13. Changes

We may change Viaraa and these Terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they apply. If you keep using Viaraa after that, the new Terms apply to you.

14. Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep Viaraa running and safe, but it's provided as it is: we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect losses, or for what hosts or callers say or do. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us for coins in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits anything the law doesn't allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.

If you break these Terms or the law and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable losses.

15. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, please contact us first: most problems are solved quickly. If not, the courts at Bengaluru will decide, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
